David Linsky on the Issues

Health Care

I have heard from thousands of people and it is clear that they want affordable health care and prescription drug coverage. We are one of the richest states in the richest nation, and still 460,000 Massachusetts residents don’t have health insurance or affordable access to health care. This is simply wrong.

Families should not have to choose between paying for health care, prescription drugs and food. Yet, Governor Romney tried to cut prescription drug coverage, aid for local hospitals, school nurses and cancer prevention.

I proudly blocked those cuts and will continue to fight to keep Leonard Morse open.
